‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ to return in 2014

ITV have announced that ‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ will return for a new series in 2014.

Following a four-year hiatus, the popular show began its tenth run last month. However, the last episode of the series is billed for next week.

The show features huge scale stunts, hilarious sketches and appearances from A-list celebrities.

Ant & Dec have surprised members of the public across the nation and have also been joined by the likes of Alan Carr, David Walliams, Ashley Roberts, Sharon Osbourne and Sir Terry Wogan in the latest series whilst Aled Jones, Emma Bunton and Louis Walsh have all followed their instruction in ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Out Of Me Ear’.

A brand new Little Ant & Dec were found, a pair that the nation fell in love with and each episode has been rounded off with an End of the Show Show starring the duo. These included performances from Robbie Williams, the cast of Riverdance and a one time-performance of ‘Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble’ from the pair; which has subsequently rocketed up the charts.

Ant said, “We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reaction to this series, especially after four years off air.”

Dec added, “We’ve absolutely loved every minute of the shows this year and can’t wait to get working on another series for next year. “
